The ‘Zamora Trophy’ is named in honour of the careerof his father
Valencia CF will face RCD Mallorca next Tuesday, April 21st at 19:00 at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in the match corresponding to matchday 33 of LaLiga EA Sports 25-26. One of the players who wore both jerseys was Ricardo Zamora de Grassa.

The Madrid-born goalkeeper joined Valencia CF in the 1961-62 season after his spell at RCD Mallorca, a team with which he achieved promotion to the First Division. Zamora played five seasons with Valencia CF (1961-62/1965-66), in which he made 155 appearances and won two Inter-Cities Fairs Cups (1962 and 1963). Ricardo retired at the Valencian side.

As a curiosity, the ‘Zamora Trophy’ is named in honour of the career of his father, Ricardo Zamora, known as ‘El Divino’.
